As I looked out my window to the rising sun
I saw the beauty of the day and it reminded me of you
That effervescent grace that carries you
The incandescence of one at peace with God and nature
Resplendent with the goodness of a higher Being
Yet, never taking it for granted that you are all these
and so much more
So, when you ask yourself the question, "Why?"
Remember that your essence radiates gloriously
and touches everyone around you
